So good to see that there’s not a dominant team in WTCC this year. I wonder where Thed Björk would be without that grid penalty though.

No dominant team, yet. Also, I doubt any Volvo would be able to keep the pace this year.

I wonder who would be next manufacturer to join, next year. I think GM should get back in the game. The Koreans, too.

I was a bit surprised to see Volvo that high in qualifying. The Polestar team has a lot of experience from touringcar racing, so I expect at least Björk to fight for podiums this year.

Opel has started up a factory team in TCR, so I hope they will join if they improve their economy. KIA could join in as well?

Kia is looking for a global place to race for some time now. I’m hoping Cadillac would get more involved with motorsports, including with something like the WTCC.

Which is why I think it is strange that we don’t (at least not for a full season) see Gigi Galli and his Kia Rio in World Rallycross this year.
